About TeaGuidebook
TeaGuidebook is an independent guide to the world's teas: where each one grows, when it is picked, how it is made, how it tastes according to the people who know it best, and how to brew it.
The guide is organised by tea type (black, green, oolong, white, yellow, pu-erh and dark teas) with herbal tisanes in their own section, and by origin, with a map on every page.
Images. The dry-leaf and tasting-note images show typical leaf style and colour. They are not photographs of any specific product.
Sources. Every tea page lists its sources. Facts come from tea boards, geographical indication registers, encyclopaedias and reputable tea sources. If you spot a mistake, we want to fix it.
Independent. TeaGuidebook has no sponsors and no affiliate links. If that changes, we will say so here, and it will never affect scores.
Health. Nothing here is medical advice. We do not repeat health claims for teas or herbs that the evidence does not support.
